The British Psychological Society is the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK. Through its Royal Charter, the Society is charged with overseeing psychology and psychologists. It has responsibility for the development, promotion and application of pure and applied psychology for the public good.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists is the professional and educational body for psychiatrists in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. We aim to:

The College of Occupational Therapists (COT) works across the UK to influence government policies and produce COT-driven strategies to promote excellence in practice and client-centred care. We provide support and guidance to members on occupational therapy practice and ethics. We work with members to produce pertinent advice, guidance and information to support members' practice, research, careers and lifelong learning.
